This one was the First of the Year!

For at least the past three years, I’ve started new Year with an unfamiliar puzzle—it might be time to keep this tradition alive! This puzzle was a gift, and it was absolutely perfect for me, so I couldn’t wait to unpack it.

📌 Image: Absolutely perfect! Magic, little bottles, a witch, and vibrant colors—all beautifully combined into one captivating scene.

📌 Box: Very compact and sturdy, but because of its small size, it was a bit difficult to make out the tiny details while puzzling. 😃 Including a poster would have been a great addition. With my poor eyesight, it almost felt like assembling a WASGIJ!

📌 Colors: Bright and stunning, yet not overly intense or unnatural. They’re vibrant but still very pleasant to look at.

📌 Pieces: The pieces feel so familiar, but I can’t quite place where I’ve encountered similar ones before. The pieces themselves are thick and reliable. The cut is precise enough that if you accidentally place the wrong piece, you’ll notice something is off immediately. The surface has a slightly matte sheen and is only a little slippery—not overly so. One thing that concerned me was the impression that if you pressed the surface with your nail, it might leave a permanent mark.

📌 Puzzle-Cut: Enjoyable! It’s somewhat traditional but includes some tabs and slightly wavy pieces.

📌 Interlocking: Honestly, I wished for a stronger fit. Moving sections was a struggle—oh, what a struggle! I even tried sliding a sheet of paper underneath to transfer parts, but it would snag, disrupt the pieces, and destroy half the progress. The fit was not this puzzle's strong suit.

📌 Can it be lifted when assembled? 😃 Oh no, definitely not.

📌 Disassembly: Quick and easy! Nice - it minimized the risk of damaging the pieces.

I loved it—absolutely loved it! I won’t lie, the image itself added a lot of bonus points, but the overall experience was fantastic. I definitely want to try more from this brand, and I’ve already got my eye on a few specific ones! Let the hunt begin. 😃
